We discuss in depth about certain sub-genres found often in Anime and Manga, namely Isekai, as well as the Shonen sub-genre. We talk about how these sub-genres seem to be used more for the sole purpose of profit, rather than using them as an intricate story-telling device, and how sometimes, shows and manga use them unnecessarily, and add nothing to the over-arching story or narrative.
