Bourbon Real Talk Episode 7
In this episode we review 2018 Old Forester Birthday Bourbon (OFBB) and have a light hearted conversation about appropriate bottle counts for whiskey collectors. Melissa is in an openly gay relationship. From the point she developed an interest in dating she knew she was attracted to women and not men. In fact, she is one of the only gay friends I have ever had that never attempted to live a straight lifestyle. As a result she has a lifetime of experiences from different social climates that have shaped who she is today. She bravely shares her life story and gives us a little insight into the struggles that the gay people around us are facing. I hope that everyone who sees or listens to Melissa's story can develop a sense of compassion and find a reason to be a little more accepting of those who live different lifestyles. If you are open minded enough you may just discover that we are all more similar than you might think...despite our differences.
