Ep. 33: Simblifying the Olympics - Part 1

The world's biggest sporting extravaganza has just ended (sorry cricket fans, we're not talking about the IPL). It's the quadrennial showcase of athletic talent from around the world in events we didn't know existed till two weeks ago - the Olympics. The first of a multi-part series, we're gonna look at how the modern Olympics came to be. Did you know there was an ancient version of the games? Did you know the first event featured women? Did you know about a gentleman called Pierre de Coubertin? We tackle all these questions and more.

Sure, this episode comes on the day the Olympics is closing - but we prefer to think we're 4 years early, rather than 2 weeks too late.
