2. Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel
The second deepdive takes us into the murky poetry of 1964 with Sound of Silence written by Paul Simon. Can we discover what it's all about? Can something be a sound and yet be a kind of silence? I do not of course own the rights to the song and am using it purely for educational purposes. Want to submit a suggestion for a song? Make a case in an email to deepdivelyrics.crow@gmail.com. We're based in Spokane, WA so if you're around, make a request and I'll have you on an episode to help talk us through your favorite song. Any other questions, comments, arguments, etc. can also go to the email or find the deepdive lyrics page on Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube. My favorite version of the song, as well as Dangling Conversation and Poem on an Underground Wall can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0018R4HQW/ref=tmm_fbs_msc_title_0?ie=UTF8aqid=asr=
