Chicago's Cordoba Fuses Jazz with Activism

Cordoba is a jazz fusion sextet from Chicago who met as musicians but grew together as activists fighting for radical social change. The group uses music as an agent to create a soundspace that confronts the problems of poverty, mass incarceration, gentrification, and isolation in their native Chicago. You know we love music with a purpose! Cam Cunningham and Brianna Tong of Cordova joined Jill to talk about the music and their show Thursday night at Sleeping Village. More info on their show can be found here: https://sleeping-village.com/calendar/deanna-devore-fay-ray-cordoba/
