We start our discussion with our thoughts on the glaring reports about the non-inclusive culture limiting the careers and growth of Black creatives at Vogue and Conde Nast, partly perpetuated by a history of racism in fashion as well as specifically by Anna Wintour. In contrast, we celebrate the accomplishment of the recently appointed first Black editor-in-chief of Harper's BAZAAR, Samira Nasr. With the recent shakeup at Givenchy, LVMH tapped Matthew M. Williams of Alyx to be its next creative director. How will this pan out?
