Patrick Watson (2019)

I had interviewed Canadian musician, singer and songwriter Patrick Watson years earlier, in the same hotel, so I knew he would be a interesting and willing talker. When I arrived, however, I realized I had forgotten my research, and the hotel restaurant was so loud that there was no real way to do the interview inside. We had to be creative, so when Patrick spotted a very colorful egg to sit in I knew it was going to be alright. I remembered the gist of what I wanted to ask so we just started talking away, about his new album The Wave, getting run over by bikes in Amsterdam, growing as a songwriter, his admiration for Connan Mockasin, and a lot more. I hope you enjoy this interview as much as I did. By: Robin Hignell Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/FaceCulture)
