A chance discovery at a bookstore leads Amar to discover the world of Azad Foundation. The social enterprise based here in Delhi asked an audacious question back in 2009 - could they start a taxi service that employed only women drivers? This was an open challenge to the iron hold of patriarchy, and sparked unforgettable life journeys, such as those of Savitri and Poonam, mother and daughter, for whom driving is a livelihood.
