Munshi Premchand's Idgaah (ईदगाह); performed by Rajeesh Tripathi

On the occasion of Eid-al-Fitr, we present one of the most famous stories on this glorious festival: Munshi Premchand's Idgaah.

Idgaah tells the story of a four-year-old orphan named Hamid who lives with his grandmother Amina. On the joyous occasion of Eid, Hamid is full of spirits and is excited to go to market to buy toys like his friends. But an unusual thought causes him to buy something else. Will his grandmother appreciate his unique gift?

Performed by: Rajeesh Tripathi.
