Alissa Turney

Episode 11 Alissa Turney

Seventeen year-old Alissa Turney vanished from Phoenix, AZ in May, 2001. Initially, clues left behind pointed to her leaving on her own and heading to CA. But eventually, it became evident that Alissa had not left on her own. A self-confessed serial killer took responsibility for Alissa's disappearance, but that confession fell apart, and police zeroed in on a more likely suspect; one that would surprise a lot of people, Alissa's own step father, Michael Turney. Despite initially not believing that her own father could be responsible for her half sister's disappearance, Sarah Turney is now convinced that he is a killer and is on a mission to prove it getting justice for Alissa in the process. Sarah discusses her sister Alissa's sad and tragic case, and her mission to see Michael Turney held accountable.
