Midnight is imminent, bringing with it the return of Mr. Percy, and the devastating effects of the poison that has been "anointed" on Ionas. Having just survived the assassination attempt, Tim, John & Sam push back as Thom tries to hand-wave the last few hours until midnight, trying instead to unearth the plot behind these attempts on Ionas' life.
