And, your wondering; how do you go from a simple idea to a well-developed story? But, why do you need a synopsis? A synopsis is essential to creating an outline, a well thought out plot, and characters. It's important that you slow down and take this step before you dive in and start outlining or writing your story. Taking the time to complete these steps will help you when it comes to the revision stage of writing.
