What to Get Ahead? Tomorrow Starts Tonight

I’m going to be honest with you. I do a lot of things and a lot more planned. I run 2 business that feels like more 5 businesses. I take care of my dog and my grandma. I deal with a terrible car every day. I’m still writing that book that I thought would be done 3 months ago. Not even talking about daily chores, cooking, cleaning, and paying bills. It can be a lot to deal with. I don’t what to sound like I’m complaining, I know I have it a lot better than most, I’m stating what I deal with. I talk my friend, Paul about how life can be a grind. Personally a lot of people would consider me a tortured soul even though I disagree. So I thought what needs to happen to where I what to be. That’s where the thought of every tomorrow starts tonight. That’s a mantra I’ll be thinking about moving forward. You want that perfect tomorrow? Well you can get close if you want to get ahead - that is by planning ahead. Think about it: Tomorrow starts tonight. If you wake up look at your alarm clock and it says 7am and you didn’t go over any plan tomorrow, then you already missed it. Doing your work as play by ear every day will not advance you to where you will be. It’ll get you somewhere acceptable, but nothing great. When I started planning my morning - and I’m not a morning person so it’s even more beneficial. It really got me into a more productive mindset to where I want to be. Now it’s a matter go how. So yes, having a year or month plan can be difficult because so much in life can happen that we can’t control. If you want weekly or daily then by all means do so. Struggles will happen, but planning for the struggles is what life is going to give you regardless. So next month starts this month. Tomorrow’s idea is tonight’s idea. If you want your financials to be better next month, you need to start this month. Everything you do this month determines the next one. If you’re looking to chance then it needs to start asap. Like with exercising, diet, learning a skill, making new friends, it all takes time that starts with now. So that’s what I’m doing. What about you?
