The movie follows Sergei Kravinoff, the offspring of Russian gangster Nikolai Kravinoff. After a harrowing experience with a lion in his childhood, Sergei is rescued by a magical potion given to him by Calypso Ezili, which bestows him with extraordinary abilities similar to those of fierce predators. As an adult, now called Kraven, he teams up with Calypso to take down a notorious poaching operation run by Aleksei Sytsevich, particularly after his brother Dmitri goes missing.
