Premiering in Canada on October 31st 1990, "Are You Afraid of the Dark" was a horror anthology series for children created by DJ MacHale. It aired on Nickelodeon until 1996 (before a soft reboot in 1999) and followed a group of kids that gathered once a week to tell stories. They referred to themselves as "The Midnight Society." With stories that ranged from terrifying to downright silly, this show was a fan favorite on the SNICK line-up.
