Does lowering one's inhibitions actually ripen the possibility for engagement, or does it dull the intellectual faculties to the point of uselessness? What would be the balance between drunkenness and sobriety in view of philosophical engagement? Doubtless it differs from person to person, but we share some of our thoughts on the matter.
