A proposal by the Federal Reserve could force large foreign banks in the US to hold more liquid assets, Novartis CEO Vas Narasimhan says the Swiss drugmaker is limiting its spending on takeovers and the scrapbooking website Pinterest files to go public with the intention of raising $1.3bn from investors.
