Billing sexual abuse victims
Law firms of all sizes have swooped in for a cut of the national redress scheme, by billing survivors of child sexual abuse for a cut of their payment. Some who've made successful claims have been charged thousands for a legal service that the government offers for free. Not all of them have known what they were getting themselves into.
