141. Breaking Past A Two Year Plateau Through Successfully Reverse Dieting with Jessica Reddell, iCoach Nutrition Coaching Client

In this weeks episode, I sit down with a client and now friend that I have had the pleasure of working with over the last 2 years as she shares her journey of losing over 120 pounds!

 

"I have officially graduated iCoach Nutrition University! So, some quick background. I used to be 300 pounds. Made it to 195 over the course of several years all by myself. So I was under the impression that I knew about eating healthy. However, I was stuck at that 195 for about 2 years, doing a mix of crossfit and gym workouts every week. So, I gave Justin a shot. First thing, "You're not eating enough". Here's me thinking 'the hell I'm not.' But, he's the expert so I ate more. Took almost a year to go from 1200 cal to 2200 calories without feeling constantly stuffed. Didn't gain a pound. Went down in calories by just a bit and finally, after years of a plateau, I lost weight. Went back up, didn't gain again. And not to forget the constant flow of information. I've learned so much that when I hear other people talk of their "diets" it makes me shake my head and I just give them Justin's number. So, best decision I've ever made and thank you so much Justin for getting me closer to the place I wanted to be at so many years ago. You're the best!"
