#53: SHAMING Yourself Thin
"I'm so ashamed that I'm overweight."
"Why was I so reckless with my health?"
"Why do I keep making such bad choices?"
Any of those sound familiar?
This is what I call... weight shaming.
AND IT ALWAYS BACKFIRES!
Either you feel so badly about your weight and your past choices that you hide, beat yourself up, and go in to denial... only to eventually say "screw it" and overeat.
OR you use willpower to restrict yourself and say "no" out of hate... until you can't take it anymore and you start overeating and self-sabotaging again.
