I often ask myself why we have various worthwhile causes celebrated for a whole month and yet Mother’s Day is but one day on the calendar. Are we all not born of woman. Is the first act of love that we know on this Earth not the conscious decision of our Mother’s to bring us forward into this world so we can breathe and growth and be happy and loving. Is the thought of Motherhood not all encompassing for this universe and yet as finite as our own hearts. Is Mother’s Day not worthy of a month celebration as well?
