Ep. 97 - Attention
In this episode we discuss the modalities of attention and their corresponding values and functions in our contemporary, late-capitalist society. We draw a dichotomy between 'lantern' and 'spotlight' attention and attempt to parse out this relationship. Is attention merely directed by our values, or does the ontology of attention proffer its own meaning?
