Buddha Basics 02: Dukkha Sucks
Dukkha, often translated as "suffering," is at the heart of the four noble truths of Buddhism. But dukkha is about much more than suffering: it also means stress, unhappiness, and dissatisfaction. Its opposite is sukha, which means pleasure, happiness, and comfort. "Dukkha is sucky, but sukha is ducky."
