The Last Hours Of…Marvin Gaye

On the afternoon of April 1, 1984, Motown legend Marvin Gaye was shot and killed by his father in their South Los Angeles home. Now renowned forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Hunter is reopening this bizarre case of filicide to discover what was happening psychologically and physiologically to the father and son at the time of the shooting to explain the reason behind Marvin Gaye, Jr.’s tragic death on the day before his 45th birthday. We’ll drop a new Autopsy podcast on Wednesday. Next week, Dr. Hunter examines the death of Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell.
