Matt, in art Killawatt, is a longstanding producer and DJ, who has an eclectic portfolio of releases and music. He started getting into old school breaks several years before eventually embracing techno as well, landing on a signature style that makes his music unique. Killawatt approaches music-making with an open mind in order to keep creativity as a priority. His consistent release schedule has seen him appearing on labels such as Osiris and 47 quite often and he will soon release on his own imprint as well. In this chat, we get into his musical roots from the old school parties he used to go to, his take on life and keeping a balance with other jobs outside of music.
