YSU president Jim Tressel talks university, sports, jobs for Valley in post-pandemic world
Back in April, we spoke with YSU president Jim Tressel about the impact the pandemic was likely to have on the university over the coming months.
At that time, hopes were that by the fall, there may be some sense of a return to normal. As we begin a new year with those hopes long behind us, Andrew DiPaolo spoke with Tressel again about how the school has weathered the storm. Tressel talks about how they've managed to adapt, how he hopes spring sports may help offset some of the losses and how YSU is working to position itself post-pandemic as the key to finding the jobs of the Mahoning Valley's future.
