He is the founder of Cobra Fitness UAE - what started as a Muay Thai specialized gym turned premium grade fitness, MMA, Muay Thai, Boxing and BJJ center for the best of the best. Mat is also the CEO of Hard Knox Fight Gear and runs various MMA & Muay Thai Exhibitions around the region.

His name has been associated with almost every single major fight related topic in the United Arab Emirates for as long as there has been a high level environment. Australian born, Mat brings a very real spirit to everything he does and carries a no-bullshit attitude about him. He means what he says and says what he means. While everyone plans and waits for the 'perfect' moment, Mat has been the one that simply DID. He is one of the hardest workers I know and I'm excited to share his story and shine a precious spotlight and a man that deserves the respect he has earned.
