Shaun Teale - The Lockdown Interviews
Shaun Teale is a player who many of us idolised for the two and a half seasons that he was with us. Moving from non-league, he made 62 appearances for the Cherries between 1989 and 1992 before joining Aston Villa for £350,000 where he formed an outstanding partnership with Irish international, Paul McGrath. He’s a player who’s been described as "the most centre-half looking centre-half who ever lived", with possibly the biggest calves that some Bournemouth fans have ever seen. Also a star for Southport, Weymouth, Tranmere, Preston, Motherwell, Carlisle amongst others - tonight he is joined by Jeff Hayward and Neil Dawson, who ask the questions about his fascinating career. Includes: ◽️ The Redknapp Run-Ins ◽️ Pinning managers again changing room doors ◽️ Why Big Ron prevented him playing for England ◽️ Villa experiences alongside Paul McGrath ◽️ His current career as a painter and decorator If you're enjoying this show and our other interviews you can help support us by buying us a coffee at http://www.afcbpodcast.com/coffee - we really appreciate it!
