Eli sits down with Tess Hart of Philadelphia’s Triple Bottom Brewing. Using her background in the non-profit sector, she founded Triple Bottom with two business partners in 2016, and has been growing steadily ever since. The brewery has partnered with other non profits in the city and is known for hiring homeless and incarcerated employees, who would otherwise struggle to be hired elsewhere. Triple Bottom prides themselves on being one of the only breweries to become a Certified B Corporation, which is a testament to their high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
