As promised last week, Allison and Roman sit down with college friend Justin and his lovely, quirky family at their beautiful home in Asheville, NC. They interrogate each family member on their childhood gardening memories and favorite muscles, ask philosophical questions about what constitutes a weed, hear a heartbreaking tale of love and loss of a seedless avocado from spouse Maria, rant against the tyranny of grass lawns, and are even graced with a brief visit from some one year olds. 

Next week's Seedy Short will be a bit more audio from this trip, but one in which we actually fulfill our god-given purpose and read some honest-to-goodness eggplant seed descriptions.
