When you first receive a replacement battery from HumanWare, it is VERY IMPORTANT to calibrate the battery on your Victor Reader Product. to do this, ue your device until you hear "Battery Low. Victor powering off. Beep Beep." At this point, you put it on the charger and fully recharge the battery. Repeat this process at least 3 times. after you've calibrated the battery a few times, you can charge the battery as needed (at 15% or lower). It is totally fine to run it down to 1% every day if you prefer. There is no chance of overcharging the battery if you need to leave it on the charger longer than necessary. please let us know if you have any questions! We'll be more than happy to assist!
