Program Director for the Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation, Tricia Williams has been an accomplished musician and percussionist herself, but these days she mostly pours her heart and soul into the foundation -- which does amazing work helping secure high-quality musical instruments to deserving, under-funded music programs, and providing an array of services to school districts. Of course Tedeschi Trucks Band has been a long time supporter of Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation, as was Kofi Burbridge. And September 22, Kofi’s Birthday, is Kofi Burbridge Day of Service. A day of volunteering and raising money for great causes. So what better time to talk to Tricia than right now.
