Episode #30: August 26, 1995 Part One
In this episode, the Old Man begins his look at the charts of a late summer week in the middle of the decade. While PC owners were learning the ins and outs of Bill Gates' latest upgrade, the radio played songs about the wonders of the city, alcoholic codependency, females who probably weren't extraterrestrial, and intimate encounters with flowers. And the band names were inspired by such things as weird college nicknames, a pretty crime, a snitch, and one of the most cringeworthy words in the English language. And also superiority to some guy with an old-timey name. Maybe this will make sense with the YouTube playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDWLXjsOJPQkfolI2JCcvu7PLMyQ4Y86W But it definitely will if you just listen to the show. And remember to tune in next week for...the rrrrest of the story! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
