The Governor of Nebraska relayed that meatpacking employees make up 1 in 7 cases in his state.  While the majority of California will reopen today, San Francisco will hold until May 18th. Nevada will begin to reopen on the 9th, though casinos will not be included in the first round of openings. The FDA approved a COVID-19 test that gives results in an hour and requires no complicated or expensive equipment.  The New York Times is reporting that Mexico is underreporting hundreds and potentially thousands of deaths due to the virus in Mexico City. The information comes from officials and data reviewed by The Times. The UN Secretary General said that COVID-19 has created "a tsunami of hate and xenophobia, scapegoating and scare-mongering” and has called on world leaders, media and all individuals to stand up against hate.  Norway has begun to ease restrictions, school will resume next week and increasing the number of people allowed at gatherings from 5 to 20. The Australian Prime Minister has announced plans for reopening. With hopes for most aspects of the country ready by July.
