On Sunday, The President’s frustration with the doctor seemed to grow as he reposted a twitter message that contained “Time to #fire Fauci”, noted The New York Times. A Smithfield pork processing plant in South Dakota will close after 238 workers tested positive for COVID-19. Cases continue to rise on the USS Theodore Roosevelt, there are now 585. 43,000 Walt Disney World employees will be temporarily furloughed. Global cases have surpassed 1.8 million. China reported the largest increase in new cases since early March, most from people returning from other countries, reports The Washington Post. Russia reported another record increase in new daily cases, with over 2500. A nurse’s union in the UK, is advising members, that they can refuse to treat patients as a “last resort” if they are not provided appropriate personal protective equipment, relays CNN. In the Netherlands, over 25% of all confirmed cases, are healthcare workers, according to data from the Dutch National Institute for Public Health.
