030720  This is Coronavirus 4-1-1.  The latest Coronavirus info for Saturday March 7th, 2020.  Confirmed COVID-19 cases in the U.S. rise by more than 100 in 24 hours, as Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Oklahoma and South Carolina all record their first cases.  There are now 340 cases in 28 states.  Florida reports two fatalities, bringing the total number in the U.S. to 17 lost lives.  The CDCC recommends that older persons and those with chronic health conditions, “stay home as much as possible”.  Test results are back for passengers on the Grand Princess Cruise ship off the California coast, with 21 testing positive for the virus.  There are more than 3500 people on board.  In Austin, the South by Southwest conference has been cancelled for the first time in 34 years.  Amtrak is suspending the nonstop Acela service between New York and Washington.Stanford joins The University of Washington and Seattle University in cancelling all in person classes, according to The New York Times.  Classes and finals will now take place remotely. In Italy, the Leader of the Democratic Party, announced that he has tested positive for the virus, reports The Washington Post.  Via Facebook, Nicola Zingaretti said he is in isolation at home and feeling “fine”. There are 102, 471 global cases according to Johns Hopkins University.
