MFDS 57 - Robert Young

Todays guest is Robert Young. A native of Tennessee, he grew up watching his father conduct investigations as a Special Agent with CSX Railroad Police. Wanting to follow in his footsteps, he joined the Metro Nashville Police Department in 2007 upon graduating from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Criminal Justice. For more than a decade Robert served in many capacities within the police department, including; patrol division, flex unit, crime suppression units, countywide narcotics, and the Drug Task Force. In March 2018, he retired from law enforcement and started his own private investigations and securities firm, Covert Results. Over the course of eleven months, Robert and his team put together one hell of a story; A book based on a true wiretap case where Robert was the lead Agent. The case, set in 2014 and 2015 had a major impact on the city of Nashville after a record cocaine seizure worth more than 3 million dollars. The book titled “Gray: Rise a Fall of 1422,” It chronicles cocaine, corruption, money, politics, and even death.
