Did the church make you feel like having sex outside marriage makes you less valuable as a woman? Yikes. I bet it did, cause same! Guess what? Thankfully, that's not true. Your worth as a woman does not depreciate by the number of men you've slept with. It also does not appreciate by only having intercourse with your husband. Ope. Sorry. Not according to God. Is purity important to God? of course. But impurity comes in 10,000 different flavors and sex outside marriage is just one of them. There's a lot of work to do to remove sexism from the message of purity within churches. I'm here for the women who feel shame and unworthiness around their sexual past.
