2Cellos interview - Stjepan Hauser and Luka Šulić (2017)
I first met Luka and Stjepan back in 2014 and this is the second time I had to pleasure to sit down with them. What I love about these guys is that they are incredible musicians but don't take themselves too seriously either. They like to joke around a lot, and with their dry Balkan sense of humor it's tricky but really fun for a somewhat serious interviewer, as I am. We spoke about their album Score, which remains my favorite work of theirs, on which they play various movie scores that mean a lot to them. We also spoke about making people fall in love with the cello, the energy they have on stage, staying true to themselves, and a lot more!
