At 3:40am on February 17, 1970, a phone call was received by the operator in Fayetteville, North Carolina . The person on the other end of the line was requesting assistance at the MacDonald home on Castle Drive. At 3:42am, another call was made from the same address, this time being patched through to military police in Fort Bragg.
