Carissa McCray, PhD. (she/her), is an English instructor in K12 with over 11 years of experience. She has her B.A. in English, Master’s in Educational Leadership, and PhD in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. Her ongoing scholarship and work as an educator are driven by creating equitable learning opportunities through the inclusion of multicultural literature and media to transform curricula.
