EMPOWERED EATING: Your relationship with food can be an important part of a health and authentic self-care strategy. However, for many people — food is much more fraught. Emotional eating, shame and anxiety around food or body image, and negative cultural messages about what we "should" be doing can interfere with mindful, compassionate and self-aware eating practices.
