Living with Open Hands, Part Two

In last week's episode, Tara Posner's life went sideways in the span of a day. What started as just feeling "off" became an aggressive leukemia diagnosis; intense, in-patient chemo; a bone marrow transplant; more than 100 days quarantined in the hospital; organ failure and doctors advising her family to say goodbye.

After a few recuperative months at home, Tara learned her cancer had returned - but that was just the beginning. Hear where she is now, what it means to start her own counseling business after what she's walked through, and what the hope she aims to offer her clients, whatever their faith background.

Tara answers our Instagram community's most pressing mental health questions in today's episode as well; you can hear that portion around the 29-minute mark. Her insights on anxiety, procrastination, feeling "stuck," when to seek counseling, and how Christians should approach mental health. (Spoiler alert: it's probably the opposite of what you'd expect.)
