Quick Take: Migraine in Primary Care

Migraine is commonly seen in the primary care setting, however, diagnosis and effective management of migraine can be difficult. Dr. Unger provides rapid screening questions and easy diagnostic strategies that can be incorporated in the primary care setting. He also discusses abortive and preventive management of migraine and when prophylactic interventions should be considered. Recent years have seen the emergence of a number of Calcitonin Gene-Related Peptide (CGRP) inhibitors and these are discussed in more detail.
