Preppy Kitchen’s John Kanell on pursuing his dream
Former LA native, now embracing life in the Connecticut country, John Kanell is baking his way through this quarantine. Growing up, John was always fascinated by his mom’s magical ability to cook and bake without measuring. Later, he studied art and painting at UCLA and taught middle school math and science for over a decade. Each of these experiences led to John’s ultimate dream, the creation of Preppy Kitchen. John believes the best way to reduce baking anxiety is by being prepared in the kitchen.
