When financial advisors have their hands full with the expanding needs of their clients, portfolio construction may not get the attention it deserves. That’s why they’re increasingly turning to asset managers for help. Two veteran portfolio managers who oversee Capital Group’s fund-of-funds solutions, Brad Vogt and Wesley Phoa, share their views on this important industry trend.

Brad Vogt is an equity portfolio manager with 31 years of investment experience and serves on the Capital Group Management Committee and the Portfolio Oversight Committee. He holds a bachelor’s degree in international politics and economics from Wesleyan University.

Wesley Phoa is a fixed income portfolio manager with 25 years of investment experience and serves on Capital Group’s Portfolio Oversight Committee. He holds a PhD in pure mathematics from Cambridge and a bachelor’s degree from the Australian National University.
