Veronica Ryan is a British sculptor whose fascinating career spans more than four decades, but whose biggest career moment may well come in 2021, with two important commissions for the UK: a statue in east London to commemorate the Windrush generation, and an exhibition on Spike Island in Bristol, a hotspot in the recent Black Lives Matter-related statues debate.
