Russell Tovey
What does it feel like to be famous and how do you deal with the rejection that comes with being an actor? What’s Alan Bennett like, and how do you start an art collection? Actor Russell Tovey, who first caught our attention when he appeared in the original production of ‘The History Boys’ in 2006 and whose star has continued to rise with appearances in ‘Looking’, ‘Angels in America’ and ‘Years and Years’, has lots to say about to all these questions. Also actively involved in the art world, as well as being a keen collector, he co-hosts the podcast Talk Art, and this autumn is guest curator at an arts festival in Margate in the UK to mark the 2019 Turner Prize. He chats with host Danielle Radojcin about his career to date, as well as the five things that he’d put in the cabinet at 5 Carlos Place.
