The street style photographer turned fashion designer talks to host Danielle Radojcin about his life. Originally from Toronto, he first made a name for himself in the mid-aughts documenting street style for his blog Jak a Jil and later for Style.com. His rise as a photographer coincided with that of Instagram and the explosion of street style imagery – he famously photographed Kanye West and Virgil Abloh in a photo which became so widely discussed that it was featured on an episode of South Park. He is now the creative director of fashion label Deveaux based in New York, where Danielle meets him in his studio to talk about his obsession with Japan, his cross-dressing alter ego Hello Titty, and his take on the fashion industry today.
