Penny Martin
The writer and editor talks to broadcaster Danielle Radojcin. In 2009 Martin helped launch The Gentlewoman, the biannual women’s magazine, which she continues to edit and which has built a devoted following for its witty, idiosyncratic tone of voice, beautiful fashion spreads and pioneering covers, featuring the likes of Cindy Sherman, Beyoncé and Phoebe Philo. She talks about her love of collecting and writing postcards, what makes a good intern, her unusual interview with photographer Nick Knight for the editor’s job at ShowStudio, and combating bad skin as a teenager.
